Happy Tax Day -- NOT!

Well, another year, another 1040. I can't remember the last time I got money back when I filed my taxes. I usually owe up the wazoo. Last year I tried to pay estimated taxes -- oh the joys of being self-employed -- but the jeep (see earlier post) ate up most of those payments. I'm still trying to figure out just how I'm supposed to pay estimated taxes AND the balance due at the same time. Just how much money do they think I make??? And have they seen my car??? Sigh.

So now as I send off a very large check to the US Treasury, I take in a deep breath and send it with the intention that soon all of this tax stress will be a thing of the past, I'll be able to go on employee status and still bring home enough to live on. Someday soon, THEY'll be sending ME a check on April 15!
